One 45 minute singing lesson each week allows for a structured session, with time to warm up and cool down the voice as well. If you require a longer session, I can do hour slots as well
This is flexible depending on your needs and goals, so it's totally up to you how often you decide to take lessons!
I teach hour lessons too but for younger children below 12 I have found that 45 minutes each week work best. I can also do longer lessons (up to 2 hours) or shorter lessons (30 minutes) on request.

Do you teach complete beginners?
Absolutely, if you’ve never even touched a mic before you’re more than welcome!
Do you teach children?
Yes, I teach children above 8 years of age to sing! Music is a fantastic tool for learning, as well as developing confidence & social skills in young people. Our exciting lessons will ensure that they really enjoy learning to sing with most of the input on the music we cover being chosen by the student. You are more than welcome to join us during the singing lesson if you wish to sit in.
Where are you based?
I teach all my singing lessons in Bristol at my home, located on Ashley Down Road in Bishopston.
Do you teach online lessons?
Yes, I can also teach lessons via Zoom or Skype depending on the student's needs & requirements.
What songs will we sing?
It's up to you! We'll sing a combination of songs which help to build your range, expression and stamina, as well as any songs which you love. I'm open to all styles so we can focus on the music that you really enjoy as well as improving your singing.
Do I need anything before I start my first lesson?
Not at all, I have all the equipment here that you are more than welcome to use!
Do you teach grades?
Yes, I currently teach Rockschool Vocals from grades 1-8.
Can we arrange group lessons?
Yes. Group lessons are a great way of learning performance skills and we can work particularly well on ensemble and harmony work. The largest groups I teach are groups of 4, please get in touch for more information.

I’m tone deaf and have never even touched an instrument in my entire life, do you think I can learn to sing?
Anyone…and I mean ANYONE can learn to sing. All you need are some detailed structured lessons, some gentle encouragement and of course lots of practice and you’ll be singing away in no time at all
